Di Iso Decyl Phthalate finds improved performance in PVC applications due to lower volatility, higher heat stability and lower migration. Due to its superior electrical resistance, it is used in the manufacture of electrical wires and cables. It has lower specific gravity and can be economical on volume cost. In plastisol applications, DIDP exhibits initial low viscosity and excellent storage stability. It has high resistance to migration, ageing and oil extraction.
